John Hutchins - Art Teacher

John Hutchins is an extremely talented artist and trained as a fine art painter at Hornsey College of Art, London. After spending five years with the Air Force in the Middle East, he returned to the UK and has devoted the last 40 years to living and working as a full time painter and art teacher


John has had many one-man exhibitions both in the U.K and abroad, having owned his own gallery in Wraysbury, Middlesex, he has shown work around the UK and in many London Galleries including The Guildhall, The Mall, The Gagliardi Gallery, Chelsea Barracks and Olympia Stadium. John draws his inspiration from a great variety of sources, including fantasy paintings influenced by the work of Tolkien.

As well as teaching Adult Education and demonstrating for Daler Rowney, John teaches at prestigious residential Art Centres throughout the year, such as The Earnley Concourse, Chichester. John has an exceptional talent for teaching groups of all levels of abilities and as the testimony from one of John's students confirms (left) he will endeavour to pass on and share his knowledge to whosoever wishes to learn.

Lynda Frayling - Soft Furnishings Tutor

Over the past ten years, Lynda has taught various subjects in adult education classes besides running her own Soft Furnishing Business - Accent Soft Furnishings. Lynda has undertaken many craft and teaching based courses and has qualifications in PGCE in Further Education, City and Guilds Design course in Sewing and Machine Knitting , City and Guilds Creative Skills Certificate in Interior Decor.

Having had her knitwear designs published internationally and with a vast experience in all aspects of soft furnishing you can be assured your course is of a high professional standard. Expert tuition, guidance, group discussions and most importantly a "hands on" approach to learning are the teaching methods most commonly employed on all soft furnishing courses.
